My youngest sister Ginny is also a Mom to 5. Her 5th just turned 1! And they live on a farm. A funny farm. It’s not a full-blown farm, but she still has funny stories. I’ve asked Gin to send me posts for Fridays and said I would call it Funny Farm Friday. She will be a regular guest blogger for me. She sends me random emails with funny stories of quotes from her kids. She also gardens, cans (and cans and cans), coupons (she has a very cool stockpile), and is actively involved with her church as a pastor’s wife.
Here is a quote from her last email to me…
“My chickens hate me and only me. They follow me around and peck me. No one else. a little freaky.”
Just fair warning here: Ginny is even more random than I
But I did tell her she has the freedom to post about whatever she wants. Doesn’t have to be funny, can be serious too. Whatever is on her mind/heart. I think you will enjoy.
Side note: My sister Lynn also blogs on occasion. She may at times guest post here (but I haven’t asked her yet -lol). So to read her blog, visit Coffee With Lynn. There you can read about her adventures in Chickpea Picking.

I simply HAVE to meet your sister!
the pressure!!!
I would love to take some video of the chickens following you Ginny! haha
I wondered (at first) why Ginny was screaming on the phone when I called! Really happened–(a chicken attack while she talked on the phone). I asked her if it reminded her of Alfred Hitchcock’s movie, “The Birds”–a true classic. Show it to your kids if you want them to stay inside for 2 weeks–like maybe when you are re-seeding your lawn.
More like a month! Crows still freak me out after seeing that movie.
