Funny Farm Friday Begins

A hello to all my soon to be followers!  LOL!  How to introduce myself?

Well I suppose I do many things.

I also am a mom to 5.  I love it most days.  Although I must say the Veggie Tales little green peas on top of the wall of Jericho are not as funny at 2 a.m. when my 1 year old Levi had a fever last night.

Then I am a pastor’s wife.  That is interesting on its own.  So we are in a fish bowl to an extent.  I love God more than life and ministry is close behind.  My 6 year old Kyle told a young guy in our church recently “my dad said you were the biggest problem in this church”.  Wow!  AWKWARD!  I wish that were true as his unpardonable sin was needing to keep a closer eye on kids during game time at kids club.

Next I am a couponer.  Am I the extreme couponing type?  Well that TLC show has given normal couponers a bad name.  I am that on a smaller scale.  My 8 boxes of cereal vs. their 100.  It is a hobby and saves money all in one.  Anyone here have 4 boys to feed?  Need I say more?

Then I am a farmer.  (Sounds so male.  Should be a farmess or farmette.)  Not too good at this one yet.  That is why my part of this blog is Funny Farm Friday.  What is funny about it?  We came from city living and now we have a couple acres and people farm here.  So we do to.  Only we don’t know what we are doing so there are many humorous things that happen.   I actually laughed out loud when invited to a tractor pull the first time.  Then there are fairs and cow shows and auctions and flea markets.

I am honored to be part of my witty sister’s blog.  How she became so computer savvy is beyond me since we grew up the same and the only computer educaion I had was playing Oregon Trail in school.  I couldn’t even keep my cows alive, but I’m hoping to do better when we get a bovine of our own.

Lastly and mostly I am ADD. So good luck following my blogging!

I just love how you spelled “education” wrong. lol. (Actually there were a few others that I fixed but I missed that one) but I will leave it because it’s funny. Go Madison High School! :)

Great post… I did not know you had 5 kids too, that is pretty neat! And veggie tales is pretty cool, its those baby Einstein videos that drive me crazy!! Kyle sounds like a cool little dude, kids that say things they should know are funny, unless they are your own, then they are embarrassing! You will have to post some pics on here sometime of your farm/gardens/animals! Lastly, there is nothing wrong with being ADD, at lease you don’t have what Sher has, ODD! =)

Hope Levi is all better. I hope that when you get a real cow it fairs better than your computer one and your chickens. :-) Good job, look forward to hearing more.

Great to get to know more about you. I lived on a farm for about 2 1/2 years. The stories I could tell about chickens and pigs… maybe the funny stuff is God’s way of keeping farming going? Can’t wait to read more.
