I'm getting excited about the Her Story section of my blog. You may have read Heather's post yesterday, and if not, you should! I've put out a few emails to some great women who will be contributing their stories. Don't be surprised if I ask YOU! These stories are meant to encourage and uplift you. We women have a way of trudging through the daily routines of life even when under a huge amount of stress. If you have something to share about the way the Lord has helped you get through the tough times, I'd love to hear from you.
Or maybe it's not necessarily a tough time, but just something that we can relate to or learn from. Maybe it's just the amazing grace that God has poured out on you that you would like to share. If so, send me an email at sherri @ momto5.com (no spaces of course)
I'm also super excited about my new Share buttons that you will see at the top and bottom of my posts. So go ahead and share something if you enjoy what you read!
On a side note ( a VERY side note), my kids just have way too many clothes. No wonder I always have a mountain of clothes to wash. We are heading out for a week trip and they have packed and still have a ton of clothes. Gotta do something about that. For now though, I'm just focusing on cleaning. I have no idea what it is, but before I go away, I actually clean more than when we're here! There's something about coming home to a messy house that is just SO depressing. It's like, "Welcome Home! Now get to work and clean up this place. Oh yes, and also do the laundry from your trip and unpack all the luggage too!" No thanks! Can anyone relate?

I like the new layout of the blog! The share buttons look good and the new input box here is very fancy! I am praying you all have a super awesome time on your trip, I think it will be a BLAST! As for the guest women posting, I just want to encourage any women who read your blog but may be afraid to write a guest post or think what they are going through or learning is not important to write! It is SO encouraging for us who read these posts to see how the Lord is working in your lives. I personally enjoy reading it becuase it is amazing how women deal with so much and yet do such an amazing job at it all, truly inspiring!
I can relate…I just got back to my house from 3 weeks away and remembered–to my great delight–that I had cleaned my upstairs closets before I left (last year mice moved in and I had all kinds of random people seeing how messy my closets were and I didn't want that to happen again). I'd forgotten all about cleaning them, so it was such a treat to open my usually messy closet and see—organization!!
so funny…i totally go on a cleaning spree before we leave on vacation. george always looks at me like i have 2 heads. we have 4 kids to get ready plus ourselves and now you are going to clean too. but…i think it is totally worth it to leave knowing the house looks good and when i get home it feels great!
